GREENE – Dave McGowan, Jr. captured his second Greene Bowlodrome Mixed Scratch championship with a 215-185 win over Matt Carr on March 23.
Seeded fifth entering the roll-offs, McGowan, Jr. defeated fourth-seeded Wayne Basa, 265-247, setting up a matchup against his brother and third-seed, Brett McGowan. Dave beat Brett with a 247-205 victory then took down third-seeded Danny Miller, 250-192, to reach the finals against the top-seeded Carr.
21 bowlers participated in this year’s event.
