KIRKWOOD – Representative from New York's 22nd congressional district Anthony Brindisi released the following statement after the announcement that Canopy Growth will open its new facility in Kirkwood:
“This announcement by Canopy Growth puts the Southern Tier and Broome County at the forefront of the industrial hemp industry—and will significantly change agriculture in the region and in New York State as we know it. Canopy Growth plans to bring hundreds of good jobs and a long-term investment of over $100 million in the region.
