Lull earns New York State Broadcasters’ Award

BINGHAMTON – WCDO Sports Director, Nate Lull was recently honored by the New York State Broadcasters’ Association by being presented the “Best Social Media Personality,” an award the Gilberstville-Mount Upton native has earned for the second straight year.
Lull’s popularity on Twitter and Instagram has increased dramatically as he has become the sports authority for thousands of people in the Tri-County Area, reaching 6,000 combined followers on Twitter and Instagram.
The association recognized Lull for his coverage of local sports from five leagues in the local area as well as his creative contests, awards and unique posts. Every year, student-athletes eagerly await Lull’s Halloween photo where he chooses to recreate a photo taken of an athlete in action.
Lull goes to the extreme at Christmas as he dresses like Santa and presents a sports poem every year. Last year, he posed with a real reindeer from the Animal Adventure park in Harpursville.
