OXFORD – The Oxford Farmers’ Market welcomes The John Truth Experience back to the Bandstand in Lafayette Park this Saturday.

The market opens at 9 a.m., with music from 10 a.m. to noon. Band members Joel Huizinga, Mark Stacey, Rick Czebiniak and Michael McGuane play a unique blend of Americana Folk, Jazz, Country, Rock and old Traditional standards, driven through with rhythm and heart. Their CD, Barbed Wire, will be available for purchase. All events at the Oxford Farmers' Market are free and open to the public.

On the park, over 20 outstanding vendors will be offering a wide variety of fresh seasonal produce—with the appearance of corn and tomatoes marking the onset of August— home-made breads and baked goods; local yogurt, cheeses, and butters; eggs, chicken, beef (including certified organic and grass-fed ground beef) and lamb; jams, fudge, honey and maple products. Home gardeners will find a wide selection of bedding plants and hanging arrangements. For the kitchen and bath, there are fine handmade, soaps, lotions, lathers, tooth powders and lip balms. Those looking for the perfect gift will find locally-raised alpaca and wool products, hand-crafted wooden and pottery crafts, in addition to fine fabric items and jewelry.

Everything at the Oxford Farmers’ Market is always “fresh from your neighbors”.

More information about the Market can be found on their website www.oxfordfarmersmarket.org or by calling 607-226-6483.
