NORWICH – The Chenango County Board of Supervisors has received notice of a submission of application from High Bridge Wind Farms that may lead to construction of dozens of wind turbines in Chenango County.
County officials have additionally received a notice of proposed stipulations for the project.
High Bridge is the company behind a proposal to build up to 25 100-megawatt, 650 to 676-foot-tall power generating wind turbines located on the hills of the Town of Guilford. If carried out, Chenango County would be home to some of the tallest land wind turbines in the country.
