Norwich Campus of Morrisville to host alumni weekend

NORWICH – As part of it's 50 year celebration, SUNY Morrisville's Norwich Campus will host a weekend full of activities free for community members and students to enjoy.

From 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday the college will host a community impact panel at the Earlville Opera House on, "Finding Success in Rural Communities: It is Possible and Profitable." There will be a reception catered by Michael's Fine Food and Spirits immediately following the event from 7 to 9 p.m.

Officials said Commerce Chenango President and CEO Kerri Greene will talk at the event, along with other keynote speakers.

From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday the college will host a BBQ lunch and arts and crafts vendor meet-up at the Norwich Campus parking lot.

Events are open to the community and officials encourage registration at morrisville.edu/alumni/alumni-events prior to the event.
