Lady Tornado runners snag hardware from Megan Sorbera Invite

EDMESTON – The Lady Tornado ran through the tape at the Megan Sorbera Invite, taking home the first place trophy with all runners placing in the top 11. The Norwich boys finished second, coming in behind the Sidney Warriors Cross Country team by a slim margin of four points.

The Tornado’s Adrienne Vedder crossed the finish line first out of all runners at the invite, aiding the the team’s win. She raced to a time of 20:07, 29 seconds ahead of teammate Grace Bookamer.

Robyn Diehl ran to a time of 21:21 to place sixth while Macey Montgomery (23:23) and Lexi Slate (23:48) were the next two runners to finish, placing seventh and eighth respectively.

The final runner for the Lady Tornado to cross the finish line was Raegan Clarke, clocking a time of 33:42.
