Chenango County’s Hospice hires new staff

CHENANGO – Hospice and Palliative Care of Chenango County has had a busy summer and is excited to share some updates with our community.
Hospice of Chenango County is pleased to announce the hiring of three new staff members: Julie Palmere, Director of Patient Family Services, Jennifer Fink, Administrative Assistant and Alessandra Kershaw, Director of Quality Assurance. The organization also promoted Lindsay O’Donnell to Operations Manager.
Hospice of Chenango County is waiting for final approval from the NYS Department of Health to begin renovating their new building at 33 Court St in Norwich.
Officials said the process has taken much longer than initially anticipated, and so far, the capital campaign has raised $99,042 of the needed $300,000 to complete the renovation. Representatives of the hospice of Chenango County said they deeply grateful to all of the donors and partners who are helping us move into our forever home.
