Bobcats eye fourth straight MAC title after win over Lady Hornets

BAINBRIDGE – After Thursday’s match win against Harpursville/Afton, the Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats will play for the fourth straight Midstate Athletic Conference Championship.

The Bobcats – the top-seed in the conference tournament after finishing the season undefeated in league play – defeated the Hornets in three straight sets with scores 25-2, 25-7, and 25-14.

With Walton defeating Deposit/Hancock 3-1 Thursday, B-G will host the Lady Warriors Monday, October 28 at 5:30 p.m. for the MAC title game.

Erica Selfridge finished the night with a full stat line in the match, hitting home nine kills and added five aces, six assists, and a block to lead the Bobcats.

Makenna Clark also a good night at the net, coming away with seven kills and served up five aces for B-G while teammate Sasha Lamoree added five aces and 11 assists.
