Creative Works to host Cookies with Santa event
NORWICH – In true holiday spirit one local nonprofit is offering an evening full of holiday joy to the community.
Creative Works Inc. and vocal coach and music teacher Meena Conant are trying to spread joy this holiday season and offer an event where families can make special holiday memories.
The event, “Cookies with Santa” is planned for December 19 from 6-8 pm at Creative Works in downtown Norwich. The evening will begin with a performance by the Holy Family School Choir followed by a performance by Conant’s private vocal students as they continue the holiday favorites from 6-7 p.m.
“It makes me so happy to have my students reaching so many people in the community with their voices this holiday season!” said Conant.
Following the singing performances, a special visit from Ole Saint Nick himself will begin at 7 pm. Santa Claus will be visiting with children from 7-8 pm and will be on hand to enjoy cookies with guests at that time. This event is free and open to the public. There is no registration required for this event. Creative Works Inc. is located at 17-19 South Broad street in downtown Norwich.
“All of the businesses at Creative Works try to put emphasis on the importance of family time, especially during the holidays,” says Jill Kraft, Creative Works executive director. “We love to offer programming that draws people together where families can be together and create those special memories that last a lifetime.
