Emergency repair to be completed tonight in the City of Norwich
NORWICH – The City of Norwich Department of Public Works is scheduled to complete an emergency repair on a water line tonight, and has warned residents living in the Thompson Road area that they may be without water for a few hours.
According to City of Norwich Department of Public Works Superintendent Ed Pepe, the work is scheduled to take place from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. tonight into tomorrow morning.
“It’s just for the route 23 users that go up the hill on Thompson Road,” said Pepe. “We have to shut down water to do an emergency repair, but it shouldn’t take the full amount of hours we’re scheduled for.”
