Lady Storm skid continues after loss to Hornets
HAPRURSVILLE – The Lady Storm dropped their fifth straight game Tuesday night as the host Harpursville Hornets earned the 44-41 win.
Ghia and Saleen Medovich led the way for the Hornets, scoring 10 and 11 points to pace the home in the win. Teammate Chelsea Merrill added eight as Harpursville had a good shooting night stated UV’s head coach Brandi Whitbeck.

Both teams went scoreless for the next minute but Saleen Medovich made a bucket to give the Hornets the two point lead.
The Storm’s Sophie Off came down the floor and knocked down a 3-pointer to give her team the 41-40 advantage with 2:10 remaining in the contest. However, that was the last point scored by Unadilla Valley.
Harpursville tied the game with a Ghia Medovich made free throw before securing the three-point victory at the foul line. Mackenize Whidden and Saleen Medovich drained the big freebies down the stretch.
Off led the Storm in the scoring column with 17 points while White added 10 in the loss. Emily Hill chipped in eight for UV.
Unadilla Valley hosts Sidney Thursday at 7:15 p.m.
