Norwich track star commits to Canisius College
Norwich High School senior Katie Gawronski signed an NCAA National Letter of Intent to compete in track and field at the Division-I level with Canisius College (Buffalo, NY) earlier this week in the comfort of her own home. The school offered Gawronski an athletic scholarship to run for the program. Gawronski currently holds a combined nine of her high school’s track and field records in both individual and relay events for the Purple Tornado’s indoor and outdoor track programs. Gawronski has been coached by head coach Shaun Horan since her freshman year. (Submitted Photo)
