Greene Fire Department responds to vehicle fire on Sunday

GREENE – On Sunday the Greene Fire Department responded to a car fire at the Great American parking lot.
Greene fire department officials said firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the fire and no injuries were reported.
Fire officials reported that a preliminary investigation indicated the cause of the fire was electrical in nature. Officials said the fire started at 9:59 p.m. and that crews left the scene at about midnight.
Calls for additional information about the incident were not returned by press time Monday.
