NORWICH – On February 29, The Chenango SPCA is hosting their 16th annual Valentine Fur Ball. The semi-formal ball will take place at the Canasawacta Country Club and go from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

“The Fur Ball is an opportunity for the community to have a great meal, dance and just generally have fun while raising money for our animals,” said Executive Director Annette Clarke

The night will include dinner with a choice of prime rib, stuffed chicken, or breaded haddock, as well as a chocolate fountain and champagne.

The event features a live music performed by Brothers and Friends, formerly known as Brotherhood, as well as a silent auction.

According to the information posted online, “the music is always dance worthy, the food makes you want seconds, the silent auction may get you something you've been dreaming about and all this to help animals in need.”

“The funds go directly for animal care and will help us maintain the high level of care they deserve,” said Clarke.

Tickets for the event can be purchased on the CSPCA's website chenangospca.org.
