Racing to the top

Carson Burkholder, the newest rider for the Chip-N-Dale Development Team and a first grader at Stanford Gibson Elementary School in Norwich, has been all over the east coast and is one the top contenders in the six-year old expert class. Last week, Burkholder raced in Virginia at the Blue Ridge Nationals and reached four out of six main races, the finals of the BMX world. When he returned home, the youngster raced at Grippen Park BMX in Endicott, where he took first place in all three races (six-and-under open, seven-and-under cruiser and six-year old expert class).
