According to the U.S. National Weather Service, sections of Chenango County received more than eight inches of snow by Saturday making for dangerous weather for morning commuters. Columbus, Plymouth, and sections of Norwich had received approximately eight inches of snow, but Bainbridge had only received three inches by Saturday. Areas including Preston and New Berlin received seven inches. More than two inches of snow is forecasted for today.
