NEW BERLIN – The New York State Police released the names of the two people involved in a fatal two-car crash in the Town of New Berlin on Tuesday.

Police said Mathew R. Fredericks, age 43 of Herkimer, was killed, and another driver injured, following a head on crash.

According to New York State Police Troop C Public Information Officer Aga Dembinska, at approximately 2:44 p.m. on August 4, New York State Police at Norwich responded to a report of a two-car crash on State Highway 8 in the Town of New Berlin.
