NORWICH - According to City of Norwich Fire Department Chief Jan Papelino, a tree was removed from a vehicle in the City of Norwich on Sunday.
Papelino said the City of Norwich Department of Public Works and the Norwich Fire Department removed the tree from a vehicle trapped on Steeres Lane after high wind speeds caused damage throughout Chenango County.
According to the National Weather Service, all emergency alerts ended at approximately 2 a.m. Tuesday, and the temperature is expected to heat up moving into next week. (Submitted photo)
