The Monday Evening Musical Club hosting virtual concert

CHENANGO COUNTY – The Monday Evening Musical Club invites you to a virtual concert at 7 p.m. on Monday, April 12, to attend the annual "Area Music Teachers and Club Members" concert.
The following music teachers will be performing: Jeffrey Lyons, guitarist, and Kylie Davis, pianist, of Sherburne-Earlville; Debrah Devine, private violin teacher, and Ruth Berry, cellist and Colgate faculty member; Jenni Larcher, vocalist, violinist and private music teacher; and vocalist Michael Moren, recently retired from Oxford Academy.

The Music Club members on the program are: Erin Fischer, pianist, teacher and MEMC President; Anita Humer, Colgate staff pianist, member of the Chamber Music Society of Utica and the Leschetizky Piano Association of NYC; Jason Handy, pianist and private teacher; Meena Conant, vocalist, private and music teacher at Holy Family School; Sue Ellen Westbrook, violinist, pianist & Sherburne-Earlville elementary teacher; Sue Dreyer, pianist and Sherburne-Earlville teacher; Cheri Oakley, flutist of the Mid-York Concert Band and Parish Coordinator of United Church of Christ in Norwich. In addition, Music Club is very proud to feature Jackson Webster. Jackson, a graduate of S-E, is currently a senior in SUNY Oneonta's Music Industry program. He is a very talented guitarist, and a Monday Evening Musical Club scholarship winner.
Speaking of scholarship winners, MEMC has raised money for Chenango County music students since 1954. Even through all the changes of this past year, the club has continued to present virtual concerts to raise money for our scholarship fund. The April 12 virtual concert will provide two ways to donate, with a PayPal address and also a mailing address if you prefer. The Monday Evening Musical Club is a 501(c)3 organization, and 100 percent of the donations we receive go into our scholarship funds.
