Norwich Harriers record strong finishes at Oneonta

ONEONTA – Coming off of strong performances at Maine-Endwell and Owego, the Norwich Purple Tornado varsity boys and girls cross-country teams continued their prowess against Oneonta on Tuesday April 6th.

Despite Norwich having an incomplete teams in both the varsity boys and girls races to compile a team score against Oneonta; the Tornado still put up quick times and strong finishes against a formidable foe.

Julian Roque finished strong- topping the field of NHS and Oneonta runners over the five kilometer course with a first place finish in a time of 17:59. Stephen Kman finished three spots back in fourth place in a time of 18:34 and teammate Andrew Meccariello rounded out the Tornado boys varsity runners with an eighth place finish in a time of 20:56.
