Chenango Arts Council hosts 2021 Student Art Show

NORWICH – Chenango Arts Council is pleased to announce its 2021 Chenango Area Student Art(CASA) Show at the Mariea Brown and Raymond Loft Galleries, as well as virtually on their social media and website.
The exhibit will feature 3-D art, drawings, and paintings from Chenango County High School Students. Firs place, second and Honorable Mention will be awarded in these categories with the winners announced at the close of the show, in addition to the recipients of The Lucy Funke and Chenango Music Scholarships.
“I’m always excited to see what the kids have created,” says Executive Director Alecia Oneill. “It’s really amazing. Posting the show online allows us to share that with more people, as well as making it easier for teachers and students to participate.”
The in-person exhibit will open Tuesday, April 13. Entries are already being shared on social media but the entire show will be viewable on ChenangoArts.org on the same date. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. or by appointment. The CASA Student Art Show closes on Friday, April 30, when the winners of the show and scholarships will be announced.
Chenango Arts Council is located 27 West Main Street, Norwich NY 13815. Requests for information or a private viewing can be made by calling 607-336-2787 or by emailing info@chenangoarts.org.
