Tornado Golfers defeat Sabers in season finale

NORWICH- The Norwich Purple Tornado varsity golf team defeated the Susquehanna Valley Sabers on Thursday afternoon at Canasawacta Country Club by a score of 245-249.
Norwich Senior Max Marson finished as the medalist for the Tornado, shooting a score of 44 on the afternoon. Julian Smith shot a 47, Jacob Dowdall scored a 49, Aiden Stafford shot a 52 and Jacob Morris shot a 53 to aid in the scoring for Norwich. Logan Waters rounded out the scoring for the Purple with a score of 54.
Sus Valley’s Luciano Giamarino shot a score of 35 to lead the Sabers on the afternoon. Kolton Gardner finished with a score of 50, Allen Alesevic shot a 51, Trent Rose scored 54, and Anthony Palmieri rounded out the scoring for the Sabers with a score of 59.
Norwich ends the spring 2021 season with a record 4-5.
