BAINBRIDGE - At the heels of Tuesday’s storm which knocked out power to roughly 1,500 Chenango County residents in the Bainbridge, Coventry, and Afton area, more severe weather is in store for today.

The National Weather Service is warning of warm and humid weather Wednesday with scattered thunderstorms that may be severe. The risk continues through Thursday, creating a possibility of flash flooding throughout the region.

A few storms this evening may contain damaging winds and hail, along with frequent lightning and heavy downpours as the remains of Tropical Storm Elsa approaches.
