Otsego County Fair opens this week in Morris

MORRIS – The Otsego County Fair opens Tuesday, August 3, and runs through Sunday, August 8.
Entertainment in the Grange Building located on the Fairgrounds will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, August 3, featuring Mary Frances Perricone with songs from the 50's through 70's.
Then at 5 p.m. will be Rand's Harp Tones Harmonica Band with a variety of music, with solo and duet selections and audience sing a long.
Wednesday, August 4 will be Butternut Valley Grange Entertainment by Sonja Galley with the keyboard and singing including hymns.
Thursday, at 5 p.m, August 5, there will be the Otsego School of Dance and Performing Arts of West Burlington under the direction of Teri Velardi.
Friday, August 6, beginning at 1 p.m. will be the Baby/Toddler Contest sponsored by SFCU. Entries are being accepted during Fair week in the Grange Building and up until noon on day of show. Contest is open to all girls and boys from ages o to age 4. with 13 classes. An application fee of $2.00 and the best overall boy and girl each receive a $25.00 cash prize donated by Sidney Federal Credit Union. Ribbons for first, second and third places will also be awarded.
Party of Two plus one of Greg Davie, Judy Pitel and Liam will be entertaining at 4 pm on Friday.
Saturday, August 7 beginning at 1 pm Studio B Performing Arts Academy of Sidney will have students performing a variety of dance numbers under the direction of Rebecca Tyler.
The Grange Building is open daily during fair week with Otsego County Grangers greeting visitors. Social distancing will be in effect. The building will be offering ice cream sandwiches and frozen bananas from Get the Scoop in Morris along with water. Sales from these products help funding entertainment during the week.
The Grange exhibits for 2021 will be on Historical Highlights of Township inn which their Grange Hall is located.
