WINDSOR - Norwich’s tennis team raised its record to 3-0 on the young season sweeping all six team points from an undermanned Windsor lineup on Friday.
Half of the Purple Tornado’s team points came from forfeits at first, second, and third singles. Emma Brooks, Chloe Glanville, and Willow Swingle gathered the walkover team points for NHS.
In the lone contested singles matchup, Jolie Powell gave Norwich a 6-0, 6-4 victory at fourth singles over Windsor’s Sophia Chen.
Norwich’s first and second doubles teams - Meadow Rosenthal-Addison Jackson, and Autumn Club-Cabrarrah Lawton -- both won in straight sets.
Norwich hosts Chenango Forks Friday, Sept. 10.
