Golf: Greene sweeps matches on back-to-back days
GREENE - Facing Delhi and Bainbridge-Guilford on back-to-back days, Greene completed a sweep of wins ousting Delhi 226-323 Friday at Genegantslet Golf Club. One day either, the Trojans (3-0) earned a 249-347 road victory over B-G.
Parker Flanagan medaled for the Trojans on Friday earning overall match medalist honors shooting a 40 over the par-35 front nine. Clayton Leonard was one back at 41, while Anthony Thatcher (47), Jayden Wagner (49), and Lincoln Youngs (49) rounded out the top-five.
Thursday, Youngs moved to the top spot of the Greene scoring lineup shooting a match-low 47 at Sundown Golf Course.
Leonard was the only other Greene player to break 50 at Sundown shooting a 49.
