COVID-19 Update for Chenango County

CHENANGO COUNTY – As of Tuesday there are 93 active cases of COVID-19 in Chenango County, including 23 cases among vaccinated individuals, and six individuals are currently hospitalized.

The Chenango County Department of Health confirmed there have been 3,977 total cases of COVID-19 in Chenango.

There have been 82 confirmed deaths.

The health department also confirmed there are 189 residents under quarantine, and 3,715 total recoveries.

So far approximately 135,665 tests for the virus have been administered in the county.

The Department of Health has also confirmed that 55.9 percent of the total county population has has at least one dose of vaccine, and 67.1 percent of the 18 and over population has received at least one dose of vaccine.
