Chenango Valley 6, Norwich 1

CHENANGO BRIDGE - Chenango Bridge came up big on all the close sets, and swept the three doubles matches to defeat visiting Norwich (3-3) on Monday afternoon.
CV's Celia Trumino prevailed in a tight three-setter over Norwich's Chloe Glanville. After losing the first set to Glanville, 6-3, Trumino rallied for a 6-3 win in the second set, and 10-7 tiebreaker in the final set.
CV also captured a close third doubles match. Alexis Sands and Mandy Bixby edged Norwich's Cabrarrah Lawton and Leona Tyler, 7-5, 6-4.
Norwich garnered its lone team point at third singles. Willow Swingle notched a decisive 6-2, 6-2 victory over the Warriors' Aubrey Staub.
