OXFORD - Oxford got off to a flying start sweeping all three games from Delhi on Tuesday night, 25-19, 25-11, 25-17.
Madalyn Barrows had an all-around strong performance for the Blackhawks. Barrows racked up a team-high 11 kills, and served a team-best four aces.
“We may not have had many aces, but the girls did a great job serving tonight,” said Oxford coach Kim Martin.
Mallory Olsen-Nichols delivered a big night as Oxford’s primary setter charting 22 assists. Aside from Barrows benefiting from those sets, Hailey Richardson chalked up seven kills.

NEW BERLIN - Unadilla Valley bounced back from a second-set loss to finish off Deposit-Hancock in four sets on Tuesday, 25-18, 19-25, 25-8, 25-21.
Ava Rowe and Erica Mumbulo set the tone at the net with 11 combined kills. Rowe had six and Mumbulo was one back with five.
Kate Conway added a balanced performance leading the Storm with seven assists to go with 10 digs.

GREENE - On Greene’s senior night, Sidney prevailed in four games over the Trojans in what was tightly contested from the first serve.
Kenzie Gregery had a team-high five service aces for Sidney in a 26-24, 22-25, 25-22, 25-22 victory Monday.
“It was a pretty even matchup,” said Greene coach Shelbe Furman. “Our consistent serving allowed us to pull ahead in all sets, but it was Sidney’s grit that allowed them to claw their way back and finish ahead.”
Nav Arnold, Nicole Marks, Emily Keen-Stanton, and Lillian Kemp all had four service aces for Greene, while Marks chipped in with three kills.
