OXFORD - Oxford rallied from a one-goal deficit scoring two goals over the game’s final 25 minutes to edge visiting Unadilla Valley on Monday.
Taylor Smith tied the game for Oxford in the 15th minute of the second half getting an assist from Kaylin Tefft. Hailey Fleury’s second goal of the game moments later, again off a Tefft feed, provided the game-winner.
“It’s always a great game when we play UV,” said Oxford coach Sierra Badger. “The girls played good tonight - just enough to pull out the win.”
With the game tied at 2-2 at the half, UV’s Jaiden Schrag scored unassisted nine minutes into the period giving the Storm the brief lead.

Cassie Butler and Sarah Markham scored two goals apiece to lead the Trojans’ offense.
Breanna Casey and Chandler Benjamin accounted for the two B-G goals.

SOUTH OTSELIC - Otselic Valley posted its first shutout victory of the season scoring in the second half in a home victory over Moravia on Monday.
The backfield of Braeden Davis, Matthew Wetterer, and Levi Learned covered goalie Gavin Hazzard, who needed only two stops to get the shutout.
Owen Davis scored the game’s lone goal in the second 40 minutes receiving an assist from Cole Warren.
“We dominated three-quarters of the field, but struggled to get through the final quarter against (Moravia’s) defense,” said OV coach Jake Preston

UV-GMU broke up the shutout, when, Josh Meade scored off an Owen Hill pass.
