New Berlin Library: Youth after school science programs returns

NEW BERLIN – Beginning on October 6 the New Berlin Library will resume holding 4H/Cornell Cooperative Extension of Chenango County After School Programs.
4H Educator Erica Clark will lead a lessons every other Wednesday, at the New Berlin Library Community Room, from 3:30 to 4:30 pm.
The schedule for the next 4H/Cornell Cooperative Extension of Chenango County After School Programs is October 6 and October 20. The after school programs takes place from 3:30-4:30 in the New Berlin Library Community Room. Participants are required to wear nose and mouth coverings and practice social distancing. When weather permits the program will be held outside, behind the library. Masks will not be required for outdoor programs.
Children 12 and younger are invited to create a back to school craft. This year’s back to school craft is a crayon name tag necklace. The craft is available in the New Berlin Library Juvenile Literature Room.
Some great new additions to the library include: Beguiled (Betwixt and Between) by Darynda Jones, Apples Never Fall by Liane Moriarty, Enemy at the Gates by Vince Flynn and Kyle Mills, Death on the Danube By Jennifer Alderson, Death by Baguette By Jennifer Alderson, Death by Windmill By Jennifer Alderson, Death by Bagpipes By Jennifer Alderson, and Death by Fountain By Jennifer Alderson.
The New Berlin Library is located at 15 South Main Street, New Berlin.
The Library is open Monday and Wednesday 10AM-8PM; Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 10AM-5PM; and Saturdays 10AM-noon.
