COVID-19 Update for Chenango County

CHENANGO COUNTY – As of Thursday there are 140 active cases of COVID-19 in Chenango County, 53 of which are vaccinated, and one individual is currently hospitalized, and is not vaccinated.

The Chenango County Department of Health confirmed there have been 4,543 total cases of COVID-19 in Chenango.

There have been 86 confirmed deaths.

The health department also confirmed there are 333 residents under quarantine, and 4,302 total recoveries.

So far approximately 147,310 tests for the virus have been administered in the county.

The health department also confirmed that 57.9 percent of the total Chenango County population has received at least one vaccine dose. 69.2 percent of the 18 years and older population has received at least one vaccine dose.
