Volleyball: Norwich continues winning ways with intersectional victory

SCHOHARIE - Traveling to Schoharie for an intersectional volleyball matchup with a depleted roster presented no issues for Norwich on Friday night.
Playing with just one reserve, the Purple Tornado (14-1) ran their winning streak to 14 matches sweeping three sets from Schoharie, 25-7, 25-13, 25-9.
Over a week’s period that included a Dryden Tournament victory and four match victories, Norwich has won all 20 sets contested, and not a single team has mustered 20 points in a set.
On this evening, Lauren Squires again led in kills with 24, Maddy Morris picked up 20 assists, and Miranda Cole contributed an all-around balanced performance with six kills, four digs, four assists, and four aces.
