ADAMS - Otselic Valley’s soccer team saw its comeback season come to a close in the first round of the Section III Class D playoffs losing at Bellville-Henderson on Tuesday afternoon.
Kennady Billman had three goals and two assists for B-H, which took advantage of a prevailing wind to score five first-half goals.
Raegan Riordan added two goals and one assists.
“In the second half, we only allowed one goal, and rallied right to the end,” said OV coach Cindy Buerkle, who said the club has had few wins the past three years, and hasn’t made the sectional playoffs in roughly a decade. “The offense was able to combine and create scoring opportunities (in the second half), but could not finish.”
