Greene Softball shutouts Harpursville

HARPURSVILLE- The Greene softball team improved to 7-0 with a 13-0 shutout against Harpursville.

Greene's Olivia Kennedy continues to dominate on the mound. She allowed just one hit, two walks, and struck out 16 batters. Kennedy also contributed on offense, going 4-for-5 with two doubles and a three-run home run in the fourth.

Behind Kennedy, catcher McKenzie Scott went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in the first and scored four runs. Payton Yahner had an RBI triple in the fifth and Kylie Ferris with two RBIs.

Greene is set to play Delaware Academy this evening (Tuesday) where they look to continue their win streak.
