Norwich Flag Football team falls short in first game of program history

UNION-ENDICOTT– On Saturday, the Norwich Purple Tornado girls flag football team took the field for the first time in program history. They faced Union-Endicott where they fell short in a 19-18 deficit.

The first touchdown in Norwich program history was scored by Julia Llewellyn with 3:13 left in the first half of play.

Norwich scored on the final play of the game, but missed the extra point.

Norwich will host their first home game on Saturday evening against Chenango Valley at 6 p.m.
