Norwich Baseball suffers loss to Windsor
NORWICH– The Norwich Purple Tornado baseball team hosted the Windsor Black Knights on Monday, where they lost 7-3.
Torin Lawrence was on the mound for Norwich, where he struck out 13 batters in the loss.
Behind Lawrence, Trey Bates brought in a run on an RBI single in the second. Norwich scored the other two runs on walks with the bases loaded.
The game was close going into the seventh inning with Norwich only being down 5-3. But Windsor sealed the deal in the seventh bringing two runs home on three hits.
Norwich looks to bounce back in the rematch against Sus Valley this evening (Tuesday) at 5 p.m.
