DELHI– The UV/GMU softball team held on to a 17-12 lead to defeat Delhi on Wednesday afternoon.
Pitcher Hannah Bonczkowski picked up her second consecutive win and had four stolen bases for the Storm offense. Catcher Ava Rowe hit a triple and scored two runs.
After being down 9-2 going to the bottom of the fourth, UV/GMU scored eight runs to take the lead and six runs in the sixth inning to take the game.
UV/GMU heads to Harpursville this afternoon (Thursday) for a 4:30 p.m. start.
