SHERBURNE– The Sherburne-Earlville Marauders suffered a 6-1 loss to Adirondack on Wednesday afternoon. This was one of two final games for the 2022 season.

It was a pitching battle up until the bottom of the fourth inning. Taylor Grzymkowski reached on a fielder’s choice and moved to third base from a balk and a passed ball. Ben Menard’s RBI single was the first hit of the game and drove in S-E’s only run.

Adirondack put up five runs in the fifth with the bases loaded as three runs scored on an RBI triple. They also scored a run in the seventh inning to close out the game.

Sherburne-Earlville heads to Clinton on Friday for the final game of the season at 4:30 p.m.
