SOFTBALL : Otselic Valley defeats Madison

MADISON– On Friday the Otselic Valley softball team earned a 23-5 victory over Madison in the final regular season game.
Otselic Valley put up 22 hits on the day. Katie Kenyon, Paige Will, and Ellie Wood each had three hits while Cassidy Will drove in three runs on a triple. Paige Palmer had two RBIs with two doubles in her five at-bats. Alexandra Marsala also drove in two runs with a single.
On the mound, Cassidy Will allowed just two earned runs during Madison’s five- run third inning. She also struck out nine batters in the win.
The Otselic Valley Vikings head to Sackets Harbor to face the Patriots in the first round of the Class D Section III playoffs on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
