S-E Golf finishes the season with a win over Cooperstown

SHERBURNE– On Friday afternoon, the Sherburne-Earlville golf team defeated Cooperstown 191-214 in the final match of the regular season.
Andrew Fern came out on top of the leaderboards with a 41 on the day, ahead of Cooperstown’s Max Jones with a 44.
S-E’s Zach Trass finished with a 45 while the rest of the team finished strong as Balin Olsen had a 50 and Jacob Baker with a 55.
Charlie Lambert scored a 52 but Cooperstown fell behind as its final two golfers struggled. Own Tedesco finished with a 57 and teammate Max Scharf with a 61.
Sectional play begins this afternoon (Monday), where Fern should be participating, as he has been on track to qualify all season.
