BASEBALL: Greene/Oxford gets past Windsor

WINDSOR– The Greene/Oxford baseball team defeated Windsor 5-1 on Monday afternoon to advance to the Section IV Class B Semi-finals.
After being down 1-0 through three innings, the Trojans scored three in the fourth and two in the fifth inning to seal the victory.
Trenton Rapp got the start on the mound for Greene/Oxford. He pitched a complete game and struck out 16 batters on the day.
Behind Rapp, Anthony Thatcher and Nolan Dodzweits contributed on offense with two hits each. Dodzweits, along with teammate Tyler Brown, each drove in two runs.
The Trojans will be facing Oneonta, coming off a win over Owego, on Wednesday afternoon at 4:30 p.m.
