DELHI – On Thursday, the Unadilla Valley girls soccer team defeated Delhi 5-2 in the first game of the 2022 season. The Storm scored three goals in the first half while striking two in the second half.
In the first half, freshman Myriah Taylor scored on a pass from Kadence York. York would take a pass from Pyper Kneale to score her first goal of the season in the second half.
Kailee Figger also scored in the first half from an assist by Isabella Potter. Sophomore Natalie Crandall was the big star of the game for the Storm, scoring two goals with York picking up her second assist of the day and with Jaiden Schrag also earning an assist.
