NHS Tennis defeats Windsor 7-0
NORWICH – In their second match of the season, the Norwich Girls tennis team captured a shutout 7-0 victory over Windsor. Norwich found success in the singles and with a set of doubles before earning points on forfeits.
In the singles, Emma Brooks, Willow Swingle, and Addison Jackson all won single-handily. Brooks defeated Sophia Chen in both sets, 6-0 and 6-1. Swingle defeated Isabella Indelicado 6-1 and 6-0 as Jackson won 6-1,6-1 against Victoria Baxter.
Autumn Clum and CaIden Lewis teamed up to take down Evy Cease and Haley Smallacombe 6-1 and 6-2.
Norwich travels to Sus Valley on Wednesday September 7 at 4:30 p.m.
