GOLF: Oxford Outshines Hancock

HANCOCK – On Friday, September 2, the Oxford Blackhawks Golf team defeated Hancock 252-300. Bennett Paden, Oxford’s top golfer, continues to excel. Paden chipped in a team and match low of 44 on the day as his opponents’ Kevin Conklin shot a team low of 55.
Behind Paden, his teammates dominated against Hancock. Ethan Hodge finished with a 51 while Sylas Emerson and Kyle Benjamin both shot a 52. Degan Endress wrapped things up with a 53.
Oxford also brought Nick Richette and Nicos Spyratros to the match, but it was the top five that outshone Hancock.
Oxford hosts Sidney Tuesday afternoon with a tee-off set for 3:45 p.m.
