GOLF: Greene scores an impressive low of 208 over Delhi

GREENE – On Friday, September 2, the Greene Trojans golf team had two golfers achieve greatness by finishing three over par in a phenomenal 208-314 win over Delhi. Parker Flanagan and Lincoln Youngs both shot a 38 on the par-35 course in nine holes of golf. Delhi’s top medalist, Gavin Little, shot a team-low of 49 as Delhi struggled against a strong Greene team.
Greene saw skilled golfing all across the board as Clayton Leonard and Anthony Thatcher both chipped in a 43 on the day as teammate Trent Drew finished with a 46. Austin Dehaan did get playing time but his score of 48 was not needed in the victory.
Greene sits at 3-1 and look to keep things going as they host Bainbridge-Guilford Tuesday afternoon for an 3:45 p.m. tee-off.
