GOLF: Oxford has back-to-back wins against Hancock

OXFORD – For the second time in less than a week, Oxford played Hancock and came out on top again. In the first match, the final score was 252-300 but this time it was 238-303.
The Blackhawks were prepared to face Hancock from their last meeting as three golfers finished on top. Bennett Paden, Ethan Hodge, and Kyle Benjamin all shot a 45 on the day. Hancock’s top medalist also shot a 45 but the rest of the team did not have a fair chance against Oxford.
Sylas Emerson finished with a 51 while teammate Degan Endress chipped in a 52 on the day.
Oxford now has an even record of 3-3 and will host Afton/Harpursville Friday at 4:30 p.m.

Oxford (238): Bennett Paden, Ethan Hodge, Kyle Benjamin 45, Silas Emerson 51, Degan Endress 52, Blake Barrows (60-not used).
Hancock (303): Logan Westbrook 45, Kevin Conklin 54, Kaden Conklin 61, Wyatt Persbacker 69, Aiden Norton 74, Holden Dufton (74-not used).
