GOLF: Oxford captures fourth win of season against Harpursville
OXFORD – On Friday afternoon, the Oxford Blackhawks golf team defeated Harpursville/Afton 235-253 behind Bennett Paden. Paden shot a team-best 42 on the day. Harpursville/Afton’s top medalist was Justin Reeves with a 47.
Behind Paden, teammate Kyle Benjamin chipped in a 45 while Sylas Emerson finished with a 47 on the day. Degan Endress shot a 49 as Ethan Hodge ended the scoring with a 52.
Oxford, sitting at 4-3, will stay home to face B-G on Wednesday afternoon, starting at 3:45 p.m.
