Cross Country: UV/GMU hosts the MAC 4000

NEW BERLIN – On Tuesday evening, the Unadilla Valley/GMU Cross Country Team hosted the MAC 4000.
For the boys, Norwich tied with Sidney for the most points with 82 while UV/GMU had 73.
Norwich’s Drew Brooks came in third place with a time of 15:33, 22 seconds behind the leader, Vincent Van Maaren for Delhi. Teammate Caden Sutton finished tied for 11th place with Sidney’s Carson Straus (17:01). Elijah Baciuska finished fifth for BG/Afton/Harpursville with a time of 16:13.6.
For the Storm, Brennan Finch finished in seventh with teammate Noah Pain behind him in eighth.
BG/Afton/Harpursville earned 63 points for the girls as Ethne Degan finished first in the 2.7 mile course with a time of 16:57. They also saw points from Madison Fleming who came in seventh place while teammate Jaelin Brown finished 11th. Andrea Favinger finished sixth for the Storm with a time of 19:39. Annie Boland achieved ninth place for Norwich.
